Sally Hansen Salon Effects: Real Nail Polish Strips

Its the beginning of the school holidays, and we all know this means time for shopping. So i'm the type of person who likes to try and experiment with drug store products rather than expensive branded make up. This is because sometimes i think that drugstore products might actually be better quality than those from expensive branded stores (And maybe because its a tad lot more expensive).

So i was just shopping around at Target which offers many different brands of cosmetic products at a, what you could call, inexpensive price. I was mainly looking for nail products although the 25% off all foundations and eye products were rather tempting to look at as well. I was instantly dragged to the Sally Hansen section because its probably one of the best drugstore nail brand. Nail polish was what i was really searching for, but this product caught my eye. It was the Sally hansen Salon effect: Real Nail Polish Strips.

At first i wasn't really sure what it was, but after a look around i realised they were easy stick on nails pieces. It looked fun and easy to use so i picked one up, it doesn't have a name for the colour (at least i don't think so) but, i could say its in a denim colour. Plus it was on special for only around $6.

It actually came in a set,the nails, a mini file and buffer as well as a cuticle stick. The only down side about this package is that they aren't reusable and they only include 16 nail strips which is only enough for one nail treatment with 6 leftovers which i actually don't know what to do with.

Here are some photos:

So technically you just peel the plastic adhesive sticker off the nails and then just place it onto your nails. And then using the buffer, buff off the leftovers and you're done! It says on the packaging that it can last for 10 days. I haven't had it on for 10 days yet but on the second day i could already see it peeling and ripping, but maybe its just because i didn't apply it properly? *Shrugs*

You can see the resemblance between the denim jeans and the nail polish.
I would definitely recommend this product and i would definitely buy this again, except, if it wasn't on special, it is fairly pricy for nail strips that can only be used once! But on the good side, if you are in a rush and you don't want to walk out of the house with bland nails, this is your product!
